I wish everyone in the world could see what a morning glory flower petal looks like underneath an ordinary light microscope, even at somewhat low magnification.Â
The best way I can describe it is this:Â it looks like an immense collection of gorgeous, purple glass paperweights, packed together as tightly as they can be packed, ethereally lit from beneath by the light of Creation.Â
Sadly, light microscopes are surprisingly rare around my household. (You’d really think I’d own one, wouldn’t you?)
Hopefully my memory of having seen this back in my more sciencey days will suffice to have shown you.
Also, something very important I realized this morning that I really want to share with you is that the song The Middle represents my actual life philosophy that I live as truly as I am humanly able.Â
Really listen to the words of this beautiful masterpiece of Human ELEVATION!
[Verse 1]
Hey, don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head, you feel left out
Or looked down on
Just try your best, try everything you can
And don't you worry what they tell themselves
When you're away
Â
[Chorus]
It just takes some time
Little girl, you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright
Â
[Verse 2]
Hey, you know they're all the same
You know you're doing better on your own (On your own)
So don't buy in
Live right now, yeah, just be yourself
It doesn't matter if it's good enough (Good enough)
For someone else
Â
[Chorus]
It just takes some time
Little girl, you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright
It just takes some time
Little girl, you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright
Woo!
